Formula for Insurance Service Result

CCIR page IV-18 shows that Line 199 (Insurance service Result) is equal to the sum of line 099 (Total Insurance Revenue) and line 120 (Net expenses from reinsurance contracts held), less line 110 (Insurance service expenses).

The formula in the wiki page should be ISR = TIR + NRE - ISE.

    Thanks, I missed that in the instructions. (When I looked at page 20.22, I had assumed the expenses on line 110 would be written as a negative number.)

    Thanks for your reply! It would be more clear and helpful if CAS provides annual returns with numbers.

    Yes, absolutely.

    And I also find it a little strange that line 120 is added not subtracted. Normally expenses are subtracted but in this case I guess it's an expense reimbursement from the reinsurer?
