How was the 7.5% derived? In the similar practice questions they use a weighted average so I would expect the ULAE ratio to be 26900/329880 = 8.2%.

    Sorry, that's a typo. You are correct that the weighted average is 8.2%.

    It's valid to use judgment to select something other than 8.2%, like 7.5% as above, but that wasn't my intention. It was supposed to be the weighted average but I had the wrong formula in that cell. I gave you a shout-out in the wiki. 🙂
